Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and per diem pay options with same-day or next-day pay available.

Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR are required. PPD within the last year and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Facility-based nursing experience (1 year) required.
• Must hold an Active LPN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
