Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide bedside nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

This position offers flexible scheduling, per diem hours, and potential for rapid pay. Local applicants preferred; BLS/CPR required, active LPN license, and at least one year of facility-based experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
