Job summary

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join its care team on a part-time basis. This 24hr/wk role works 6:45am-3:15pm and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate patient care.

Required are an active state LVN or LPT license and a current BLS certificate. EMTALA knowledge and a patient-centered approach are essential to thrive in this ER-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse; comply with EMTALA regulations and ER triage processes.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
