Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care within a long-term care setting. You will follow physician orders, Primrose policies, and applicable regulations, delivering person-centered care to residents.

Available shifts are days or evenings with opportunities for full-time employment. Ideal candidates have an active Wisconsin license, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work weekends and holidays while prioritizing resident

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.

What we’re looking for:

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse to be responsible forproviding quality nursing care within Primrose Retirement Communities, ensuring that residents’ needs are met in accordance with standards of practice through physician orders, Primrose policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and established nursing best practices. Through a collaborative and “person-centered” approach, the Staff Nurse enables each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting.
• Has strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.
• Able to work weekend and holiday rotation.
