Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care within Primrose facilities, ensuring residents’ needs are met per physician orders, policies, and regulations. The role emphasizes person-centered care to promote residents' well-being.

Available as full-time or part-time with day, evening, or night shifts. Pay ranges $28-$30 per hour. CPR/First Aid and active nursing license required, with weekend availability and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting.
• Has strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Collaborate with residents to promote physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Ensure compliance with Primrose policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centered care.
• Coordinate with other care staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Be available for weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse to be responsible forproviding quality nursing care within Primrose Retirement Communities, ensuring that residents’ needs are met in accordance with standards of practice through physician orders, Primrose policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and established nursing best practices. Through a collaborative and “person-centered” approach, the Staff Nurse enables each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

What we’re looking for:

Evenings (2pm-10:30pm or possibility for a 6pm-10pm)

Must be available to work every other weekend for either shift.
