Job summary

WorkFit Medical Staffing seeks an experienced LPN for a travel contract on a 20-bed neurobehavioral unit caring for geriatric residents with dementia and behavioral health needs in Newark, NY.

The shift is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (5x8s), every other weekend, at $37/hour. Must hold an active NY LPN license, BLS, and Epic experience; two years of experience preferred. Travel eligibility and distance requirement apply.

Qualifications

• Active NY LPN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Two years of LPN experience preferred.
• Must reside 75+ miles from the facility.
• Behavioral health/SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for geriatric residents with dementia in a neurobehavioral unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Demonstrate behavior management and de-escalation in a structured setting.
