Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. seeks a licensed Practical Nurse to provide medical services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, following each person’s plan to support their health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must possess current and valid license for Practical Nurse.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual's plan ensuring each individual's optimal health and wellbeing.
• Performs tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks.
• Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations.
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory.
• Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met.
• Communicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Hourly

Hourly: $32.00 SR97A1
