Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, teamwork with the care team, and adherence to nursing processes. FTE 0.6, shift 7P-7A, weekdays with rotating weekends and holidays.

Required are a WA LPN license (or MLS endorsement) and BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred, with ongoing competency development supported by MultiCare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current LPN license in Washington State or MLS endorsement.
• Current BLS certification.
• License to pass medications may be required.
• Previous LPN experience in an acute care setting within the last three years preferred.

• Deliver and execute daily routine care to patients from diverse backgrounds with strong interpersonal skills.

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in health care through providing quality care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and families. • You will deliver and execute upon daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups utilizing your strong interpersonal skills
• You will assist the Registered Nurse or care team in implementing the nursing process

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS certification
• License to pass medications may be required
• Previous LPN experience in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred
• Experience in assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty focused residency post hire
• Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty

Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region. Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $35.03 - $53.31 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
