Job summary

Community Health Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pierce County clinics. LPNs greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling, and help maintain patient flow and clinic productivity.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation of vital signs, injections, immunizations, and TB screening, along with providing patient education and supportive provider assistance. WA LPN license required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• WA State Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
• Greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling to maintain clinic flow.
• Accurately document vital signs, measurements and clinical notes.
• Administer and document injections, immunizations and screenings.

Our LPNs greet patients and visitors, and assist with registration, appointment scheduling, and rooming of patients as necessary to maintain patient flow and clinic productivity. They provide patient education, and ensure accurate measurement and documentation of vital signs, height, weight, chief complaints, and vision and hearing screenings occurs by direct observation and routine auditing of medical records. They are responsible for accurate administration and documentation of injections including immunizations, TB screening, medications, and adverse reactions and response/reaction. Our LPNs are also accountable for provision of quality patient care, clerical support, staff duties and effective provider support to ensure excellent patient care and customer service.
