Job summary

Atlanta Allergy & Asthma (AAA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our ENT and Allergy clinics. The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist with assessments, administer medications, and support smooth clinic operations in a large Georgia practice.

As part of SENTA Partners, AAA emphasizes patient care quality, HIPAA compliance, and efficient care delivery across 18 Georgia locations. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
• Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and history taking, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the physician.
• Perform routine lab tests, collect specimens, and prepare samples for analysis.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support clinic operations.
• Respond to patient inquiries, phone calls, and triage calls, providing appropriate guidance.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at SENTA Partners plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ENT and Allergy clinics. The LPN works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient services. • Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support efficient clinic operations.
• Respond to patient inquiries, phone calls, and triage calls, providing appropriate guidance and information.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
