Pearl Healthcare in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. We offer competitive wages, flexible scheduling, medical benefits, and a sign-on bonus.

As an LPN, you will direct day-to-day nursing staff, plan and document care, prepare and administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to maintain high quality care. Illinois nursing license is required; CPR certification is preferred. Shifts are 12 hours.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Make written and oral reports; admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to nursing staff.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure nursing services meet resident needs.
• Monitor safety regulations in equipment use, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)

Shifts:

• 12 Hour Shifts.
• 1st: 7am - 7:30pm
• 2nd: 7pm - 7:30am
