Pearl at the Tillers in Oswego, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care-focused team. You will oversee day-to-day nursing assistant activities, participate in shift planning, and ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan the shift’s services with staff and support personnel.
• Make written and oral reports about shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to nursing personnel.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain rapport with other departments to ensure nursing services meet residents' needs.
• Monitor staff for safety in equipment use and stock handling; ensure confidentiality of all resident information.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
• Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Preferred)

Rate Range: $31.00 - $36.00 (hourly)
