Job summary

The Wyndmoor of Portage is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and provide quality care for geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, experienced, and capable of administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and offering emotional support in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, observing patient changes, assisting with ADLs, educating families, and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN by the state.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus but not required.
