Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN for Staten Island Care Center

Staten Island Care Center is a 300 bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Staten Island, NY. Our size enables a warm, nurturing environment, which allows each resident to maintain his or her individuality. Our staff is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life for all our residents, by maintaining each resident’s dignity and independence. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to our residents and families.

We seek LPN candidates who are flexible, caring and are supportive team members that work well with others. Our clinical team specializes in cardiac and orthopedic rehab. We constantly show our appreciation to our team players and help them further develop clinical expertise and grow as health care professionals. Working under the supervision of RNs and other licensed medical professionals you will be a source of great emotional and physical support for residents while assisting them in their activities of daily living.

Salary: Up to $30.14 per hour

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Performs nursing functions within scope of LPN licensure
• Strong LPN skills required
• Works closely with all members of the nursing team and must have the ability to adapt to changing day to day environment/clinical settings
• Administering medications and treatments in compliance with federal, state, local, and facility policies
• Maintaining confidentiality and rights of residents, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with HIPPA policies and applicable regulations
• Interacting cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff
  
  
  

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing
