American Lutheran Homes Menomonie is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Menomonie team. We have full-time and part-time PM/NOC shifts with pay $28.00-$33.50/hr, depending on experience and shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and document nursing skills within licensure and care plans.
• Document care deliveries, medications, and treatments promptly and accurately.
• Provide direct resident care as needed.
• Coordinate with RN for changes in condition and assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident records and information.
• Assist with charge nurse duties and staffing as needed.
• Monitor residents under RN supervision and ensure timely interventions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans
• Document care delivery observations, medications, and treatments promptly and accurately
• Provide direct resident care as needed
• Request RN assessment/consultation for resident who show a change of condition
• Use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate and calm manner
• Assume charge nurse duties when assigned including, but not limited to, adjusting assignment and schedule to best meet needs of residents and appropriate use of personnel
• Under direction of the RN, monitor an document health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention
• Obtain needed intervention and monitor process or order follow throughReplace absent staff when necessary
• On-call status as assigned
