Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients under physician direction, performing assessments and documenting patient status throughout treatment. Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting effects, assisting with back office duties, and rotating as a telephone triage nurse, all in accordance with Practice policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school required.
• Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
