Central Maine Medical Center is seeking an LPN/LVN for the Med-Surg unit in Lewiston, ME. This full-time night shift (7p–7a) role involves direct and indirect patient care under an RN supervision to support safe care, care coordination, and quality outcomes.

The position requires LPN/LVN licensure, IV and blood withdrawal certifications within 90 days, and a current BLS certificate. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, infection control and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a dynamic Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg / MST) unit. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certificationandBlood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Pay Transparency:

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75.
