Job summary

Trustwell Living at Hunters Crossing Place AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift. You will provide direct resident care per individualized plans, monitor residents, and document changes in cooperation with the Health Services Director.

The ideal candidate holds a valid LPN license (compact license encouraged) with at least 1 year of LPN experience in assisted living or long-term care, and a current driver’s license.

Qualifications

As the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of residents’ needs based on their individualized service/care plan. You will monitor residents for changes in condition and signs/symptoms of illness, in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as the policies of the Community. In partnership with the Health Services Director, you will communicate and document changes or concerns regarding residents and assist in supervising the care team.

*****This is a Full-Time Day shift position*****

The successful candidate for this position will have:

• A passion for seniors and enhancing their quality of life
• A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; a Compact license or the ability to obtain one is encouraged. An unencumbered LPN license is required.
• Minimum of at least one year of successful experience as an LPN in assisted living or long-term care
• Experience administering medication and treatment plans per the doctor's orders and community policies
• Knowledge of state regulations pertaining to resident care and understanding the importance of being state survey-ready every day.
• Have experience working as a mandatory reporter and can immediately intervene, report, and investigate all suspected or alleged verbal, physical, sexual abuse, or theft from a resident.
• Have a current driver’s license.
