Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for providers and exams; assists with suture preparation and carrying out orders (supplies/tests/X-Rays/dispensing medications).
• Reviews results with provider and handles related calls including case management and test results.
• Provides health assessments and assists with physicals; calibrates equipment and conducts testing as listed (Spirometry, EKGs, etc.).

Short Description

Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of medications.) Provides health assessments, preps for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and performs various testing to include,(Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms, EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture etc.Reviews physical/tests results with provider and handles phone calls (i.e.; case management, testing/physical results).

Experience Required

2 years Medical, Surgical skills, other Occupational Health experience

Education Requirements

Degree from Nursing Program LPN.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-LPN License.BLS required.
