Job summary

Sevita in Buckhannon, WV is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to advance your nursing career in a setting that delivers high‑impact care. • Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate.
• At least one year of experience working with the population served in a nursing capacity.
• Current state LPN or LVN licensure for the state of residence.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training.
• Strong communication skills with staff, individuals served, and their families.

• Provide prescribed medical treatments per physician order and perform personal care services.

• Serve as liaison and advocate with medical and professional providers, and coordinate services with external agencies.
• Educate individuals served on self‑medication, prescribed treatments, sex education/STD prevention, and smoking cessation.
