Coastal Management Solutions is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care at the Beaufort County Detention Center in Beaufort, SC. This full-time role involves shifts across days, evenings, and nights, working within a collaborative healthcare team to deliver compassionate, compliant care.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, document patient status, and assist with assessments while adhering to facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (SC) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical, assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor and document patient health status, vitals, and responses to treatment.
• Assist with intake screenings, assessments, and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in a timely manner.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Coastal Management Solutions, Inc.is actively seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services at the Beaufort County Detention Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to provide quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will:

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must:

• Possess a current, active, and unrestricted South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Demonstrate strong clinical, assessment, and patient care skills.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be eligible to work in the United States and meet all applicable employment requirements.

• Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• South Carolina LPN License
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Government-issued identification
• Immunization records (if required)
