Arbor Associates is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in Barre, MA supporting a residential special education and behavioral health program for youth and young adults.

This is a meaningful opportunity for an LPN who enjoys working as part of a collaborative care team in a structured, therapeutic environment. The program supports students/residents with complex behavioral, emotional, developmental, and trauma-related needs, with a strong focus on safety, stabilization, individualized care, and skill‑building.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to students/residents in a residential treatment and educational setting
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and facility policies
• Monitor and document health status, medication responses, incidents, and changes in condition
• Communicate with clinical, educational, residential, and administrative team members
• Support a safe, structured, trauma‑informed environment
• Respond appropriately to medical needs, behavioral health concerns, and urgent situations
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow all applicable regulatory and facility standards
