Job summary

Sinai Hospital's Neuroscience Unit is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our telemetry unit caring for neurology and neurosurgery patients. Under the supervision of unit leadership, the LPN applies basic nursing principles and physical assessment skills to support individualized interdisciplinary plans and collaborates with RNs and PCAs to meet daily unit needs.

Job description

Sinai Hospital's Neuroscience Unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit caring for neurology and neurosurgery patients, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, seizure, and epilepsy cases.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the unit leadership, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development and implementation of individualized nursing interdisciplinary plans to ensure that the needs of the patients are met; establishes collaborative relationships with the RN and PCA to ensure all daily operations of the unit are met each shift.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support

Pay Range: $25.57 to $40.89 Based On Experience
