Job summary

Compassus is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our home health care team. You will provide hands-on patient care, manage medications, perform wound care, and monitor health while leveraging AI-supported tools to complete accurate notes during visits.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, compassionate care, and a reduced documentation burden to free time for patient needs. An active LPN license and relevant clinical experience are required, with BLS preferred within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• 1 year experience in a hospital, nursing home, home health, or experience working with terminally ill patients.
• Active and unencumbered Licensed Vocational/Practical nurse license in state(s) of employment required.
• BLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication management, wound care, and health monitoring.
• Use AI systems to assist in completing clear and accurate notes during visits.
• Focus on patient interaction and quality of care by reducing administrative burden.
