Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Licensed Plumbing Mechanic for residential new construction to construct and install plumbing systems on active projects.

The role requires a Journeyman license, 2–4 years of residential plumbing experience, and the ability to work on-site across varying weather conditions. You must have your own tools and reliable transportation, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Licensed Plumbing Mechanic - Residential New Construction

Reports To: The Plumbing Mechanic will report to the Plumbing Supervisor of the respective Division of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

Job Overview: The Plumbing Mechanic will work apart of the new construction division to construct and install residential plumbing systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Install pipes and fixtures per regulation
• Rough-in
• Install support pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
• Assembles fittings and valves for installation
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for projects

Requirements

• Master Plumber or Journeyman License (Required)
• Minimum 2-4 years of residential plumbing experience (required)
• New construction plumbing
• Able to work in a variety of extreme weather condition
• Must have tools and reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to problem-solve and have strong decision skills
• Resourceful team-player, with ability to also perform independently.
