Job summary

Rice Services Inc. is seeking a Plumber for its Multifamily Division. The role is in-person with a Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, subject to supervisor approval. You will install and maintain plumbing systems, read blueprints, and work with construction teams to meet timelines.

The ideal candidate has a valid plumbing license and at least four years of multi-family residential experience, with strong knowledge of local codes and safety standards. Overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid plumbing license and state certification.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in multi-family plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes and drainage.
• Collaborate with construction teams to meet project timelines.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks or clogs and resolve issues.
• Install fixtures and appliances in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas.
• Ensure compliance with applicable plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate plumbing work with project managers and other trades.
• Support apprentices and junior plumbers on the job.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls promptly.
