Quality Comfort Pros, a family-owned plumbing company, is seeking a Journeyman/Master Plumber to join our team. You will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings, read blueprints, and lead crews of 2–10 plumbers to deliver high‑quality workmanship.

Travel to service areas including Gaylord, Boyne, Petoskey and Harbor Springs is expected. MI licensing, 3+ years as a lead plumber, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Lead Plumber, residential/commercial.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using power/hand tools; Service Titan a plus.
• Customer service excellence, especially in high-end residential environments.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces.
• Strong diagnostic and independent decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team.
• Background check and valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Install, repair, and maintain complete plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance.
• Lead and oversee crews of 2-10 plumbers, providing effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to apprentices.
• Ensure all work complies with engineering specifications, local plumbing codes, and safety regulations.
• Attend weekly job meetings and coordinate with the General Contractor's on-site Supervisor throughout the project duration.
• Maintain accurate and detailed work logs, including job sites, time, equipment, materials used, and recommendations for follow-up.
• Demonstrate motivation and flexibility to work on both residential and commercial job sites, ensuring superior quality and customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service, especially when working in high-end residential homes, maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Be proactive in training and mentoring apprentices to help them grow and develop in their plumbing careers.

Qualifications:

• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
