Position Overview

This role involves supporting therapists in assessing patient conditions, planning and executing treatment programs, and maintaining treatment records. The assistant helps with therapeutic procedures, patient evaluation, and exercise instruction under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
• NC Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

Assist in moving and lifting patients, push/pull heavy objects, stay on feet for long periods, and perform bending and reaching tasks. Exposure to infectious materials is limited.
