Job summary

Rehabcentre in Crystal, MN is seeking a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in providing resident-centered care and participate in the rehabilitation program.

You will document accurately, maintain safety, educate residents and families, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while upholding licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care
• Ability to read technical procedures and manuals
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state; CPR certification as required

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides and communicate progress to the team
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home programs, and safety
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehabilitation program development
