Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and delivering Physical Therapy Services in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Provide individual therapy services per care plans.
• Assist in resident assessments and developing therapy plans.
• Keep the Physical Therapist informed of any adjustments needed.
• Brief residents on procedures and prepare equipment.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plan development.
• Coordinate therapy appointments and follow safety standards.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and therapy area appearance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program and hold a valid license.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a medical facility.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrate patience, courtesy, excellent customer service, dependability, attention to detail, and flexibility.
• Pass a criminal background check and physical/drug screening.
