PRN PTA Opportunities Available As Well

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is now hiring a full-time in-house Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

PTA Duties Include:

  1. Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
  2. Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
  3. Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision.
  4. Measuring & recording residents' motor function, strength and muscle performance.
  5. Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
  6. Observes residents and writes progress reports.
