Respond to service requests, implement and modify treatment plans, monitor patient responses, document treatments and progress, and prepare clear progress notes for the team.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with residents with diverse personalities are required.

Qualificações

• Active NY PTA license in good standing
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the Registered Physical Therapist
• Implements and modifies the patient’s occupational therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatments during sessions
• Observe residents and write progress reports
• Document patient treatments and changes in condition
