Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license required.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledgeable of procedures and laws governing post-acute care facilities.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and policies.
• Perform in competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors and protect confidential information.
• Follow company policies including harassment and compliance training.
• Displays integrity and professionalism per Life Care Code of Conduct.
