UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services in home health settings under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will implement the plan of care, educate patients on exercises, and coordinate with the health-care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires weekend rotation, a comprehensive benefits package, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Current PTA licensure and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws and the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient progress to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and other health-care team members on therapy within PTA scope.
• Work with diverse patient populations in home setting.
