Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for full-time day shift.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients referred by a physician, supervise PTAs and athletic trainers, and ensure care plans align with GA regulations and hospital policies. The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia license, graduate from an APTA-accredited program, and bring broad clinical experience across settings.

Qualifications

Licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
Graduate of an APTA or other accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Physical Therapists may have Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degrees.
Broad experience in a variety of clinical settings through internship programs.
Knowledge of documentation and billing that satisfies GA practice act and insurers.
Plan, organize and coordinate therapy with PTAs, OTRs, and SLPs.
Strong customer service and ability to relate to physician referrals.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients referred by a licensed physician.
Supervise and participate in care of patients treated by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants and Athletic Trainers.
Comply with hospital policies and support the mission and values of the hospital.
Plan, organize and coordinate therapy treatments with other therapy providers and staff.
Engage in clinical quality measurement and performance improvement activities.
