Responsibilities

• Document assessments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Provide resident, family and staff education on PT modalities.
• Orient and direct work activities of PT assistants, rehab techs and PT students.
• Review documentation written by licensed PT assistants.
• Screen residents to determine benefit from physical therapy intervention.
• Develop and participate in PT programming for residents.
