Requirements include Florida PT licensure, graduation from an approved PT program, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of PT experience. Schedule typically Mon-Fri 8a-5p with some weekends, offering an opportunity to grow professionally

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy program approved by applicable boards.
• Current License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in the principles and practices of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy assessments and ongoing evaluation for residents under a Plan of Care.
• Implements teaching appropriate to the resident’s needs and environment.
• Contributes to ongoing quality improvement processes.
• Promotes safety and a safe environment for residents and coworkers.
• Supervises applicable team members and PT assistants as directed.
