Job summary

The PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Essential duties include following treatment plans, charting progress, and using therapy software while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in applicable state and maintain active licensure.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of PT.
• Chart patient progress in a timely manner.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Assist in patient evacuation and maintain safety and sanitation.
