HealthPro Heritage in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient therapy in a 90-bed community. You will work under Physical Therapists to deliver treatments, assist with exercises, and document progress in the patient records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Treatment and Education: Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

HealthPro Heritage has a great part-time Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.

• Setting: Outpatient therapy program that provides outpatient services to residents of a 90-bed Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care community.
• Location: Set in the heart of Silicon Valley, Within easy reach of downtown Sunnyvale, upscale boutiques, restaurants, and parks.
• Wage Range: $40 - $44 per hour
• Hours: Up to 25 hours per week
