Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department on a full-time basis. You will provide direct therapeutic care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve mobility and independence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care and successful discharge planning.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, valid state PTA license.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out prescribed therapy programs and treatment interventions established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through exercises and activities designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance, and mobility.
• Assist residents with functional activities, transfers, and walking techniques.
• Observe and communicate residents' responses to therapy and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Complete treatment records and document resident participation, progress, and services provided.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic exercises with residents and caregivers.
• Coordinate with nursing personnel and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.
• Participate in resident progress reviews and assist with discharge preparation.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment.

Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and resident-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about helping residents improve their physical function and maintain independence. In this role, you will provide direct therapeutic care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, using individualized treatment approaches to help residents reach their rehabilitation goals.

Essential Duties

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.

• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
