Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join a newly remodeled Assisted Living and Memory Care facility near Falls Church, VA. Compensation ranges from $34 to $38 per hour, with hours as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting PTs with treatment plans, providing direct patient care, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. Equal opportunity employer committed to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
