Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Juneau, WI seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support long term care and brain injury settings. This split role offers competitive pay up to $38/hour and opportunities for PRN or part-time hours as well.

Licensed PTA in Wisconsin is required; the position combines patient care with collaboration among a skilled team including PTs, neuropsych, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, compassionate therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Split role between LTC and Brain Injury Center
• Long Term Care Setting includes
  • Short term rehab, Long-term residents, & Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
