Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Huntley, IL is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to support care in a senior living setting. The role involves assisting therapists, implementing treatment plans, and providing patient care with flexible M-F scheduling.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate's degree in PTA and a valid state license (or be eligible). Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress; educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Document patient treatments accurately in line with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
