Qualifikationen

• Active Texas LPTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• New graduates welcome; 1+ years of inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform treatments and exercise instruction per plans of care.
• Assist supervising PT during evaluations, testing, and procedures.
• Carry out programs of corrective exercise, therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor progress, document sessions, and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management.
• Maintain equipment, keep environment clean and safe, and comply with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement and continuing education activities.
