Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic center in Lighthouse Point, FL. You will work under a licensed physical therapist to deliver high-quality care, with mentorship and ongoing professional development opportunities.

The role offers full-time hours (32–40/wk), a competitive hourly rate ($26–$35) plus a bonus potential up to $4,000, and access to a broad network of 1,900 centers across 39 states for career growth.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CAPTE national examination certified as PTA.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities per policy.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients and enhance client relations.

Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 4758 North Federal Highway Lighthouse Point, Fl 33064

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Starting at 32 hours/week with ability to grow schedule to 40 hours/week

Compensation: $26.00-$35.00/hour pending experience plus up to a $4,000 bonus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
