Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. You will work under supervision, manage floor stock, package medications, and assist with shipping processes.

Experience with controlled substances is a plus. We value reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining pharmacy standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Reliable and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
• Package fill and ship medications
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
