Job summary

Benecard Central Fill is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Bonita Springs, FL to handle prescription workflows at our state‑of‑the‑art mail order facility. You will input prescriptions, manage refills, and ensure accurate dispensing with adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Under the Operations manager, you will support inventory control, invoice processing, and timely submission of orders to wholesalers, contributing to reliable patient service and medication management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is Required.
• Florida Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Certificate is Required
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Must have acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills are Required.

Responsibilities

• Inputting new prescription information.
• Input refill requests.
• Fail orders to problem resolution queue.
• Obey all State and Federal HIPAA guidelines.
• Create and submit orders to wholesalers.
• Process expired drug and wholesaler returns.
• Timely scanning and filing of wholesaler invoices and statements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory at all times.
• Pulling and dispensing pharmaceutical medications.
• Dispensing medications utilizing automated dispensing machines, counting machines and manual counts.
• Restock automated dispensing equipment and dispensing area.
• Assist with biannual inventory.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• The ability to keep up with the daily and monthly performance goals.
