Job Details

• Preferred: Prior experience as a pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician.
• Availability needed: Monday-Friday.

Job Duties

• Be able to speak both Vietnamese and English fluently.
• Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly.
• Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level.
• Anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
• Maintained a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
• Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days' supply.
• Fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
• Maintain records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
• Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
