Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy department. The role emphasizes providing prompt, friendly service while filling and verifying prescriptions and counseling patients according to all regulations. You will assist with inventory and support pharmacy operations.

The position requires a pharmacy degree and licensure, with continuing education to maintain license, and a willingness to engage in MTM services and immunizations when applicable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required and pharmacy degree.
• Continuing education to maintain license.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred; immunization ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service; counsel patients.
• Fill and verify prescriptions; counsel per OBRA '90.
• Assist with monthly inventory and controlled substances inventory annually.
• Assist with coaching, training, and development of staff and students.
• Promote wellness and services through community engagement and outreach.
