Job summary

Quad Recruitment is hiring a licensed Pharmacist for an outpatient, community-based pharmacy in San Angelo, TX, where you'll verify, counsel, immunize, call prescribers, and lead your tech team. This role offers a stable, community-facing practice in a busy setting dedicated to consistent patient care.

The position requires PharmD, active Texas license, and at least one year of pharmacist experience, with hospital experience preferred and sterile compounding experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires PharmD degree.
• Active Pharmacist license in Texas and one year of experience.
• Retail/outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense medications accurately per regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, allergies, dosing.
• Counsel patients on use, side effects, and interactions.
• Communicate with prescribers to clarify orders.
• Supervise and support technicians and staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Administer immunizations where licensed.
• Assist with inventory and controlled substances tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations and quality care.
